Day Two - January 6, 2012

Today we decided to explore Brisbane.  We took the CityCat to the CBD (Central Business District).  Paul wanted to stop by his office to pick up his new phone, and we decided to explore along the way.  Here are some photos from our day:

We ate lunch at Subway under Paul's office building.  We found out that many of the Subway restaurants here in Australia do not sell chips.  They only sell sandwiches, drinks and cookies.   Interesting.

When we returned, we swam for a little bit in our pool:

Later that evening, Paul's coworker Brett and his wife Kirsten invited us over to dinner.  They are the best.  They have a lovely home and we had such a nice dinner.  The kids swam with their son Hugh, and had a great time.  As I sat enjoying the company and the wine, I hit a wall from our journey.  I was sooooo tired.  Because I was exhausted, we left earlier than I would have liked at about 9 p.m.  When we went to get the kids from Hugh's playroom, this is what we found.  I love this photo:
